Our network very rarely encounters problems. We have nevertheless listed some potential sources of problems below. Obviously you may contact us anytime if you ever experience any difficulties wth our system. Having problems dialing the US access number? Make sure you are dialing the international prefix number required from South Africa (00) when making a call to the United States. Dial the international prefix, followed by the country code for the USA ( 1 ) and then the access number (e.g. 001 111 222 3333). Once the telephone computer phones you back you are on the US telephone network. You will then use the prefix 011 + country code + city code + telephone number. Not receiving the callback? Make sure you are at the telephone which has the US access number assigned to it, as otherwise, the service may be calling back to another telephone. Should you wish to change the assigned number, please log onto your account, change the callback number via the phone menu or contact us directly. Having problems dialing the destination number? Make sure you using a touch-tone telephone. If you are using a pulse phone, our telephone computer cannot hear any tone and will say “Invalid number, please enter…”. Still having difficulties? If you still hear the voice prompt "Invalid number, please enter the phone number you wish to call " you may be taking too long to dial. Do not wait longer than five seconds between digits. Also, you may have dialed an invalid number. Make sure you dial as if you are calling from within the USA. You would like to send a fax? Use your fax machine in manual mode. Trigger the access number and hang up after one ring. When you receive the callback, pick up the handset and dial the number to which you wish to send a fax. When the destination fax machine answers, press the start button on your machine and hang up the fax phone. Its very easy. Should you encounter any further problems using the service or with quality over an above what we have described here, please contact us immediately, and we will be more than happy to resolve any issue that you are having. |
